India: Preparing youths to be industry-ready

As part of the company’s commitment to being a strong partner of India, Samsung Innovation Campus is working alongside the government to meet its mission of empowering the country’s youth.

“Samsung Innovation Campus is letting me experience problems in real time, so that I can understand them, solve them, and then be excellent in them.” This is how Chirag, a student at Samsung’s Innovation Campus in Bengaluru, India, describes Samsung Electronics’ approach to equipping young people with skills for the technology sector.

In the video below, Chirag and two of his fellow students, Afsha and Anupriya, explore their understanding of innovation and explain how Samsung Innovation Campus has provided a unique platform to engage with new challenges, enabling them to practise problem-solving at an advanced level.

By participating in the programme, they feel better equipped for work in the tech sector, thanks to the hands-on experience and skills-based learning they have received.

The immersive learning experience offered by Samsung Innovation Campus helps participants emerge with the confidence and competence required to thrive in the industry.

With high demand in India for engineers and scientists with knowledge in machine learning, AI and big data, the curriculum is designed to help close the skills gap and prepare students to be industry-ready.
